SOCCER - Special Event Rules - IMPORTANT

A) The daily Soccer rounds during the first stage of the event week (Swiss Rounds) will be played in two matches (Home and Away).

B) During Stage 1 of the competition (Swiss Rounds) points will be granted depending on the results of both games as shown in the table below. Accumulated points define the position on the SWISS Round ladder.

D) If teams are equal in points on the ladder at the end of event stage 1 the order will be determined by direct result concerning TOP 4 spots, afterwards overall goal difference and finally lower number of goals conceded.

E) The Semi-Finals (Event stage 2) will be played as Home and Away Match Series (= two matches). The winner will be determined by higher number of accumulated goals.

If the number of goals is equal the higher number of away goals defines the winner. If this is even too, the Home team has to send a challenge for a decider match (Match 3), which if ends in a draw will be replayed until one team wins a decider match and therefore the series.

F) The Final will be played as one match, which if ends in a draw must be replayed until a winner is determined.

G) BOTH teams have to post the EXACT results of the two matches on our RESULT BOARD immediately after the end of the series.

If for whatever reason the series has not been played to the end or not started at all, both teams have to place a comment on the Result Board explaining the situation before the daily playing period ends covering all game results played up to this point in time.

If there is no information provided about the series neither by Home or Visitor team, the match will be deemed as double-forfeit and both teams eliminated from the competition.

In all other cases the series might be awarded to one team based on available information and in best interest of the competition progress.

Please note that teams which are not posting the results or provide no information might be penalized by a point deduction.
